Overnight Help Desk Support – Level 1 Engineer

Your main requirements will involve answering client questions, assessing trouble tickets, resolving issues and always providing five-star customer service.

Essential Functions:

  • Support and maintain server issues in a 24/7 environment
  • Learn to support Windows Servers, Exchange 2010, SQL 2008, SharePoint (WSS, MOSS), SharePoint 2010, SharePoint 2013, VMM, Hyper –V and other hosting solutions
  • Support multiple large scale projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Recommend technical solutions that enhance performance and turn business problems into technical solutions
  • Troubleshoot and report server performance issues
  • Occasional blog writing and projects with other departments
  • On call one week out of every six
  • Be available for negligible travel
  • • Remain productive in a highly flexible office environment


  • 2+ years of experience in technical support, preferably in the hosting industry
  • Must have experience in customer-facing environments
  • Associate’s degree preferred
  • Knowledge of Windows 2003/2008/2012 server configuration and administration, DNS, TCP/IP, Active Directory and IIS
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
