On a new Web page that you created on your SharePoint Web site, when you click Help, you receive the following error message:
"Error on Page". Link doesn’t work.
This problem occurs if you have added a custom links navigation bar with the SharePoint Top Nav Bar property to your Microsoft SharePoint Web page. The Help link has to have JScript and a link to the Owsbrows.js file. This link is not created automatically.
To work around this problem, create the required link to the Owsbrows.js file. To do this, follow these steps:
In the top pane (code pane) of the split screen, click to insert the pointer before the </head> tag, and then type
<script src="/_layouts/1033/owsbrows.js"></script>.
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
